George Kurtz is an accomplished race car driver, competing in hundreds of races across multiple series and achieving numerous victories in his 15+ seasons. In 2023, Kurtz delivered his best season ever, winning the GT World Challenge Team and Drivers’ Championship title with co-driver Colin Braun and Riley Motorsports, and earning 12 wins across five race series. In IMSA, Kurtz won the Michelin Endurance Cup championship in its first season of LMP2 competition. Notable race victories across prototype and GT races include class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Indianapolis 8-Hour, the 4 Hours of Sepang and Petit Le Mans.

Kurtz also earned top accolades for his cumulative success as a driver: The Trueman Cup in IMSA, earning him an automatic invitation to the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans; and Bronze Prototype Driver of the Year via publication Sportscar365. He was also named the Overall Driver GT3 Champion in the Mercedes Customer Racing Championship. 

Kurtz will return for his second year in the LMP2 class with CrowdStrike Racing by APR to contest a full season in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship. He will also return for a full season in SRO’s GT America and GT World Challenge America with CrowdStrike Racing by Riley Motorsports in a Mercedes-AMG GT3. For the first time, Colin Braun will co-drive with Kurtz in both sportscar series.
